January 2007 saw the group staging another cabaret, for the first time at Chads Theatre in Cheadle Hulme. The weather tried its best to thwart our efforts - the opening night had to be cancelled due to several people (including the musical director, sound and lighting crews) being stuck in traffic and unable to make it to the theatre on time! However, a Saturday matinee was hastily added to make up for the cancellation, and we ended up attracting 2 full houses for the evening performances and a very impressive turnout for the last-minute matinee. Despite some of the worst storms to hit Britain for several years, the show went on - eventually!
